Hi. My name’s. Korra. I’m the Avatar.
[There’s an awkward pause before she says her name. The cadence in her words is a bit off, a combination of never using the network before (or not that she can recall) and the unknown expectation of who will answer.]
Some of you may know me, I guess?
[Guh, she hates trying to cover it and just tackles the heart of the message.]
Look. I can’t remember anything since I was ghosted. [Or whatever the hell people are calling it.] Not this city, this turtle, or anyone.
But a doctor said that if I just hang around familiar things and people, even scents, then it might help me remember some things. I just, can’t force myself to remember them. So if you recognize me or know something else that could help I’d be grateful.

Yeah, I can read it. But there’s some other stuff in my suite that I can’t. It’s in some other language.
[She points to the notepad on the coffee table in front of the couch. It’s riddled with English notes on grammar that gradually goes from poorly written to fairly legible.]
action;
You were trying to learn English- well, not trying, you were actually getting pretty good at it. I assume those were your notes- maybe some homework?
action;
They might be, I have no idea. [Of course she didn't write any notes in Chinese on the improbable chance of her forgetting everything.]
So if you know both languages, does that mean you're from my world too?
action;
Learning languages was just necessary.
action;
[Curious, Korra gets up and writes her name on the notepad; in Chinese of course. Since it's one of the few things she knows now, and she angles it so Clark can see it.]
Can you teach me a little bit then? Maybe that could help my memory get going.
[Name first because it's the simplest. This plan could work, she seems to have been really invested in it.]
action;
[And he does write her name in big, nice letters in English next to the Chinese. He has never done calligraphy, but he writes all day long for a living so his writing is pretty clear.
Next to it he writes both 'Naga' and 'Clark Kent' in simple characters, then in English next to it.] This means Naga, and this one is my name. If you want me to write any other names or words do tell me, but you should know I wasn't the one teaching you English before you lost your memory.
