[Hannibal stands centered in front of the camera, looking oddly calm and not disheveled in the slightest.]
I suppose I should make a proper introduction, and this seems the best way to do it although it's dreadfully impersonal.
I am Dr. Hannibal Lecter. I'm a psychiatrist, and was a physician for many years before my retirement from that field. However, if I've understood correctly we are facing some difficult times here, so I am happy to offer my medical services if needed. A shame about the rationing, too. Proper nutrition is essential, and there's nothing quite like a well-cooked meal.
But, regardless of the situation, I am very pleased to meet you all and I hope we can get to know each other better.

Welcome to Keeliai, Dr. Lecter. I'm certain your expertise will be welcome- you seem quite well-informed already.
video
I make a point to be as well-informed as possible, and thankfully there are plenty of resources available. Thank you for the welcome.

Welcome to Keeliai- although I'm sorry you had to arrive at such a bad time, Dr. Lecter.

Thank you for the welcome.

Does this happen to you a lot? This whole 'get abducted to another world' thing? Because you sure are handling it better than I did.

If you don't mind my asking so soon after you've arrived, Dr. Lecter, do you have a particular branch of psychology you specialise in?

It's good to have more doctors here. You won't mind treating people who aren't, ah... maybe not human?
video;
If you mean for therapy, all patients are welcome. For physical ailments, I am capable enough of improvising but knowing any significant variations in biology in advance would be helpful.

Bad shit happens, you have to cut back. It's how things go. If people can't handle a little rationing we've got more problems here than we thought.

I am sure your talents will be welcome here, especially if you can cook with what we are given.
[He's joking about that, since obviously his medical skills are more important, but good cooks are welcome too.]
video;
There's hardly anything I can't cook with. I've learned to be very resourceful in the kitchen.

A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Doctor Lecter. I haven't had the pleasure of speaking to a student of the mind before.

[There is something about this man that grips Javert's attention and holds it fast.
He could not explain why, if he were ever asked directly. He would never voice it, either. Instead he meets Hannibal's excessively calm and indifferent gaze with a measured, scrutinizing stare of his own. He tilts his head pensively, peering ever closer.]
Even rarer to start off so well, [he observes abruptly.] Most throw a tantrum about popping up in Keeliai, I have noticed. Nobody expects this sort of detour.

It is nice to meet you, Dr Lecter, though of course I wish it were under better circumstances; my name is Temeraire. Pray, what sort of work does a psychiatrist do?
video;
I diagnose and treat illnesses of the mind, and help people work through various emotional stresses they might have.

There's all kinds of doctors popping up here lately. After some of the stuff I've seen happen, think we could use someone like you around. Especially the psychiatrist part.

A pleasure to meet you, Dr Lecter. I am Lord Henry Wotton, at your service.
I confess to an interest in your field of study, although in my own native time it is, as yet, rather undeveloped.
video
You're not the first person I've met from such a time, but I am more than willing to discuss the advances that have happened since, after this apparent crisis recedes.
