There was a notice a few days ago from Miss Ayala about the possibility of starting a school. I haven't worked out all of the details yet but it looks like I'll be acting as Headmaster.

If you're going to be involved in the school in any way, I'd like if we could become acquainted. If we haven't been introduced yet, my name is Tarrlok.

Thank you for your time, and I do hope that this project is a success. [Because kids need something to keep them out of trouble.]

We spoke before on my arrival, quite some time ago, monsieur. At home, I was reading law, and several of my friends as well. Obviously the laws are different here, and there are several factors of practicing here that would need to be considered, once that law is learned, if it is even a way, but provided that research was conducted, should this school become a reality, I would like to establish something of a law class here.

If there is a space that could accommodate this, once the school you speak of is established, I would like to speak further of these things.

[Midii eyes the incoming conversations before her warily. She didn't know who this 'Tarrlok' person was, or what exactly it was about his politics that didn't sit right with people...but the thought alone was enough to make her uneasy. It all hit a little too close to home.]

Whatever the teachers offer - at least law and science, so far, and I'm sure there will be more.

...I already got my GED, thanks. I'm good. I'm all diploma'd up. Can't prove it, it's back home, but it actually happened. So.

Well, it is optional, but diploma or not, you're welcome if anything interests you.

Organization, administrative duties, financials and the like. The teaching will be left up to the teachers.

[Well that's not the best news. He wasn't quite ready to deal with this situation yet. But he's determined to prove now that he's not doing this for some ulterior motive and will let someone teach even if he disagrees with them.]

I taught magic, many years ago, and both aerial and hoof-to-hoof combat. But you do not require such lessons, I imagine.

Combat could be useful, even if mot of us don't fight hoof-to-hoof. And there is someone teaching magic, although I know not all types are teachable.

Is it a specific school? Like do you wish for the young ones brought here to be taught how to fight so that they can aid in our struggles?

I won't be doing any teaching, but the purpose isn't to teach them how to fight, no, even though some classes may be offered.

I offered to help establish some self-defense training classes - which I think is important for everyone to know, given what we've experienced here so far.

I think I unfortunately missed what was said, but a school doesn't sound like a bad idea. What kind of teaching would happen though? When I taught, it was a mixture of the usual classes and more specialised.

That depends on who offers. So far, it seems about the same - the usual as well as some self-defense and kedan language and the like.
