I’ll be reopening the dojo in the Wood Sector and I need some teachers, mentors, instructors- whatever you want to call yourselves, to teach people that want to learn. Any fighting style will do, but if it’s martial arts; then all the better.

If you’re interested in lessons, get in touch with me here or privately. I don't know how much lessons are going to be yet, but I'll try to keep it low.

[There's a pause where Korra considers her next words and her smile fades a little.]

If you're half as good as Dinah Lance is [Not was.] then I need to talk you.

[Four months of training with Dinah isn't enough for Korra. She wants to dig in further into the various styles she was mastering, and this is the only way she knows of to find someone that can help her do just that.]

It helps, but it’s not necessary. [She didn’t have any when she started teaching, so holding anyone back because of that isn’t happening.]

I know something about the use of a sword, though I have not taught before. Though... demonstrations could be difficult. Perhaps no more so than my swordmaster's when I was a child, though.

[There’s a blank stare that Korra has to give a few blinks in order to get it out of the way. Weapons didn’t even cross her mind until now and now she’s kicking herself for forgetting to point that out.]

Pretty soon I’ll have a list of teachers and what they’re bringing to the table. But if you don’t want to wait, I can give you some refreshers.

Hey Rory. You know, that’s exactly what I need: A nurse to be there when I’m not. [Sparring doesn’t always end the way it’s intended, and Korra can’t be there all the time. Her schedule’s fit to burst as it is.]

It if a more than worthy ideal, although finding someone with that level of skill is hard even in my own world. [Dinah was so good Batman trusted her with their training abve anyone.] I doubt that my own combat skills on the surface are enough for instructing higher level trainees, but I would be willing to help with any novices who might need it. Particularly those who could use instruction of fighting under water.

[Man, Dick does love martial art stuff. It just makes him realize that he really needs to do more then run around in a costume at night, climbing buildings and casing places. He does have about four hours free, give or take, he needs to do something in them.]

Come on, no one is anywhere close to being half as good as Dinah is. She can kick my ass six ways from Sunday without even blinking. [He misses her so much.]
