[ the feed starts with the image of sweet-faced girl, smiling shyly as the camera starts to record. her eyes are bright with curiosity even still, and it takes a short moment before she finds confidence to speak. ]
Such a tricky device, is it not? I do not know the mechanics behind it all, but it's quite the work of craftsmanship, I think.
[ margaery's grin grows more daring, and she falls back in tune with her usual self - confident and unyielding, brave and charming. ]
I do have to say, this is not entirely what I expected a kidnapping to be like - even prison held more restraints. I should suppose each man has their own way of doing things. Even still, you would have to wonder the wit of some people - kidnapping the Queen is a high form of treason, punishable by gruesome death. [ a dramatic hand wave. the kedan have told her all about the "in between" or whatever that meant, but the information meant little to her in this moment. ] Though I am capable of going silently if given the option. I'm willing to forgive you of your trespasses, friend, if only granted the safe travel back to King's Landing, where I am needed.
[ needed to rule as a mother to her people. without her there's was... tommen, yes, the child king, but he was largely reliant on his mother, cersei, to make most decisions. which, if you asked margaery and she was feeling truthful, would say are the wrong decisions. the young tyrell knows her people well - unfortunately, she doesn't trust their fate in the hands of very many.]
Come then. A clever man would return me to my castle. And I need not know you to know of your cleverness, sir.
[ something of an honest smile - though, behind it is a clear threat, and obvious warning. a moment later and margaery hangs up. ]
