[An anonymous video post starts up, though that seems to be the only attempt the sender made to hide himself. In fact, he's in plain view, cautiously eating a bowl of the most common sweet food that didn't immediately repulse him. It becomes immediately obvious to everyone watching that the nearly middle-aged man simply forgot to log on out of sheer laziness. He starts talking calmly and casually, as though he was just chatting with a good friend.]
I just have to thank the generous souls that invited me over again for everything they've done. I swung by the place you set up and I just love what you've done to the place. My soul really just opens up the room, you know? Now, I would have gone for a mirror or a poster there, but hey, that's just me.
[He eats another spoonful. Everything about his demeanor stayed exactly the same, no matter how sarcastic that last remark was. By now, a kedan employee had noticed that someone had brought particularly sticky food to the console, and came over to check on him. Dante looks away from the console shoo him off.]
Look, I'm not messing up your thing. See? You can stop checking in every five minutes.
[The kedan walks away grumbling, and Dante looks back to the screen.]
As long as I'm here, let's talk business. I'm stuck here as long as that big, ugly whatever is up there in that castle, so please, explain to me exactly why the big bad whatever in that castle isn't dead yet? I appreciate that you saved the main event for me, but I'm sure the rest of you are chomping at the bit waiting for a piece of this thing.
[He's not casting dispersions, just the opposite. He would go charging into into the castle himself the moment he got his powers back, but there's one question nagging him: If there are so many powerful people here, why could none of them take care of this? Dante wasn't stupid enough to charge in there until he knew why the problem wasn't already dealt with.]
[Oh, except he forgot something he was hoping to put off for as long as possible. Well, might as well get it over with...]
Oh, and I guess I should ask, just in case I'm here for the long haul. Anyone know of a place someone can get a job with flexible hours? Judging by the way the locals are acting, I doubt opening up my old shop's going to work here. I was a bit of a freelancer back home, so I'd like to be able to set my own schedule.
[He'd usually just say "I like working once a week at best", but he actually has to worry about things like good impressions and not alienating people, since he no longer has an agent to do all of the socializing and damage control for him. He's very unused to it, but he thinks he did a good job. Okay, maybe he didn't do a good job, but he could have done worse.]
