Hi, gang. Freddy Simmonds here. [ offering up an easy smile. ]

I've been adjusting OK, if anyone's been curious. [ eames has started to shape the idea of freddy as an alias little more solidly. freddy's an easy going sort of bloke who's a regular sort of joe who's main interests are his fantasy football league and a proper tie. ]

Well, save for one bit. Which is the reason as to why I'm posting. I was wondering if anyone had any work available? I used to do Data Collection, but I know a few tricks in business management if that suits anyone. So yeah. I'm not sure if I aught to attach a resume or how this works.

[ eames has decided that freddy is also a wee bit awkward so there goes. ]

[ Guess who's at his normal cafe in the earth sector? That's right, Cobb is sipping his tea quietly while he scours the network for someone that can manage to take the somnacin formula and give the team more. If they could work the PASIV... ]

[Those who have seen it before might recognise that Percy is sitting in Annabeth's suite and using her console rather than his own] Okay, so, first things first. Sea prunes? Don't go there. And I'm saying that as the guy whose dad probably invented them.

[His fingers reach for a nearby pen and absently tap it against the desk before he scrawls something meaningless on a piece of paper nearby. People who have spoken to Percy before might not that he's more twitchy than usual, almost agitated.] Second, um. Are there any jobs going in places that are a little more Foreigner friendly? Apparent customers won't buy things from places if the person serving them calls them a jerk, even if they're being one. The managers don't seem to like it, either. Something without boring, repetitive tasks would be great, too. As it turns out, that's kind of hard to deal with when you're ADHD. [A beat. He fold the paper in half absently slides it into a nearby book.] And if any writing could be in Ancient Greek, that would be awesome. Dyslexics of the world untie, that sort of thing.

[He picks the book up and places it somewhere off-screen, seemingly unaware of what he's doing. A grin tugs at the corner of his mouth, and he laughs, a little sheepishly] Okay, so I don't do a great job at selling myself. But I promise, I'm hardworking. I'm resourceful, I don't mind manual labour, I can talk to sea creatures and horses, and I make a mean garden hose. And I really, really need something to do here, or else I'm going to lose my mind. And believe me when I say no one wants a crazy demigod on their hands. [He gives a small wave, and is about to disappear when he thinks of something]

Oh yeah! Apparently there are some people who don't know how to swim? I can totally teach you, if you want. Or...I dunno, take people on water rides around the turtle. Floating around in the ocean in a bubble is pretty neat, I'm just saying.

[This video features a young woman whose face may be new to the network, but she doesn't seem to have wasted any time in blending in fashion-wise with the kedan. Despite her elaborate-looking clothing, her brown hair is pulled back in a simple braid, and an artistic, flowery tattoo curls along one side of her face. When she speaks, it's with a refined British accent.]

Good afternoon. My name is Emma. I've recently arrived in Keeliai, and I have a few questions. Three, actually. My first pertains to the Emperor. I hear that it's possible to gain an audience with her. I was wondering if anyone who has succeeded in this would be willing to speak with me about it.

This ties into my next question: Has anyone learned of any way to leave this... in-between realm? I need to return to my kingdom immediately. [She hesitates (read as: catches herself).] Or, at least, as quickly as possible. There are... matters of vital importance that I need to attend to. [She smiles.]

Ah, and my third and final question... These -- bicycle contraptions. I hear they're a good way to get around faster than one would manage on foot. Back where I'm from, we used horses or carriages or even monorails if we needed to travel across land. As such, I've never... Well, would someone be willing to teach me how to ride one of these things? I'm sure I'll catch on quickly, I just, well. [She laughs.] Let me just say, trying to figure it out on my own wasn't the best idea.

Ahem. [Her smile becomes sheepish and even awkward. She never knows how to end these things.] Thank you for your time. [............. okay um she's just going to turn it off now]

[The console feed fires up, password keyed in before she's even settled into the chair. Ororo is wearing her jacket still, fresh from outside and looking to play the hybrid between winded and frustrated. She brushes hair away from her face and leans on the edge of the console.]

X-Men, shout out. Anyone heard from Kurt or the Professor?

[She's seen neither of them lately and a couple spins around the city haven't shed light on where they are. After a second, she shakes her head and starts shrugging off her jacket.]

Everyone else, what're your thoughts on having live theatre around here? I asked a couple kedan and they looked at me like I'd sprouted a third leg -- only you'd think they'd be okay with that.

Point is, me and Toby're thinking about translating some late nineties masterpieces and updating some serious Hollywood classics and putting them on. Got any requests?

_{[Marceline slips into a chair in view of the console's lens with a tiny smile and an amused expression lingering in her eyes.]}

I guess the only thing that really surprises me is the relative abundance of humans around here.

Hey. I'm Marceline. I'm new here. Are any of you guys on this network musicians, and if so, do you need a bass player? I feel like jamming.

_{[She gives a relaxed shrug, with her smile going more full]}

Or whatever. I'm easy, I could go in for pretty much anything. What's there to do on a turtle, anyway?

[ Eames figures this is part of some grand scheme to get back at him. He's never been the kindest chap, so he has no doubts that he's ticked off someone somewhere. He's up against some fine dreamers, the attention of the place -- the authenticity and the details in the world building should make him feel intimidated, but Eames takes this is a gamble. All high stakes with a lot to lose. He doesn't believe the whole situation where they're in a world of Dreams, Death and Living - he figures it's part of the game to lull the mark into a false sense of security by showing him familiar elements.

So Eames will play along until he manages a better picture of what's been painted to him. When the feed turns itself on, Eames looks positively lost. You don't spend so much time pretending to be other people without learning a few tricks yourself, so the act is a solid one. His tone is hesitant. ]

Right. Well. So I guess, the nice - Kedan - wassit? Explained a couple of things with this -- [ he makes a gesture with his hands. ] place.

This is a bit much to take in. So I gotta ask - are they known for their honesty? They tellin' us the whole story with being between death and life and dreaming?

[ a beat. ]

Name's Freddy, by the way. Freddy Simmonds. I guess. I'm new.

[ Eames is gonna push this act as far as he can. ]
